The children received their spelling lists on Friday to practise during this coming week.

Group 1 – hen, hit, hop, hat, hand, help

Group 2 – green, three, sleep, feel, need, deep

Group 3 – allow, shallow, arrow, narrow, follow, swallow

Some children have received their new reading book today, and the others will get it tomorrow. We will be continuing with these books in the first week after the holidays too.

Keep on counting! When out for walks encourage your child to find and read different numbers – door numbers, prices in shops etc. They can also practise gathering small items into groups of ten. Then counting up in 10s and 1s to find whole amount.
