Another busy week ahead.

Due to a couple of timetable changes, the children will be receiving new reading books on Tuesday this week. Our Assembly is now on Monday afternoons and we have 4 half hour PE slots – one being on Monday. The others are on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Most children have brought in their PE kit in a named bag which they can keep in school. If your child has not got one in school could you please send one in.

In Literacy we will continue to look at prediction and asking the children to discuss what they think will happen in the story. If your child has a non-fiction book, read and discuss the blurb on the back cover with them. In our writing, we are looking at writing in sentences, using a capital letter and full stop. We are looking at spelling words on our common words lists correctly.

In Numeracy, we will be continuing looking at numbers up to 30/50/100. We will counting forward and backward from a given number in the range, and also looking at numbers before, after and between concepts.
